Anne de Beer, oprichter van Skinmediq, heeft meer dan 10 jaar ervaring als schoonheidsspecialiste. Haar passie voor huidverbetering en haar oog voor detail vormen de basis van de behandelingen die wij aanbieden. Anne heeft bewust gekozen om met deze apparatuur en producten te werken omdat ze uit ervaring weet dat deze de meest effectieve resultaten leveren.

Ik ben ontzettend leergierig en vind de huid reuze interessant. Tijdens mijn autoritten luister ik altijd naar podcasts over huidverbetering, en elk jaar volg ik cursussen en workshops om mijn kennis verder uit te breiden. De wereld van huidverzorging en technologie ontwikkelt zich razendsnel, en juist dat maakt het zo fascinerend. Er valt altijd iets nieuws te leren, en die kennis zet ik met veel plezier in om de beste resultaten voor mijn klanten te behalen.

Elke maand schrijf ik een blog over een specifiek huid gerelateerd onderwerp. Op deze manier deel ik mijn kennis en inzichten over huidverbetering, de nieuwste technologieën en wetenschappelijke ontwikkelingen. Mijn doel is om anderen te informeren en te inspireren, zodat ze beter begrijpen hoe ze hun huid optimaal kunnen verzorgen.

Met trots verwelkomen we Suzanne in ons team. Als eigenaar van Aesthetics Beauty Studio brengt ze haar passie en expertise mee naar ons. Vanaf nu is ze bij ons te vinden op maandag t/m woensdag. We kijken ernaar uit om samen te werken en onze klanten nog beter van dienst te zijn.​​
Mijn naam is Suzanne van Veldhuisen – van Rossum. Ik ben woonachtig in het mooie Veenendaal. Ik ben getrouwd en ben de trotse moeder van twee zoons.
Mijn carrière begon als preventie en orthodontie assistente, waar ik ontdekte hoe belangrijk het is om het beste en mooiste in mensen naar boven te halen. Al van jongs af aan ben ik gepassioneerd door schoonheid en alles wat daarmee te maken heeft. Deze passie, gecombineerd met mijn ervaring in de zorg, heeft me geïnspireerd om mijn diploma als allround schoonheidsspecialiste te behalen, met veel enthousiasme en toewijding.
Wat ik het meest waardeer in mijn vak is het moment waarop cliënten tevreden en ontspannen de salon verlaten. Voor mij staat perfectie voorop.
In de salon bied ik een scala aan behandelingen aan, waaronder gelaatsmassages, harsbehandelingen, wimperlifting, henna brows, browmapping, browlamination, en cosmetische hand- en voetverzorging. Daarnaast kun je bij mij ook terecht voor het lakken van nagels en teennagels.
Ik ben bereikbaar op mijn werkdagen: maandag, dinsdag en woensdag. Ik kijk ernaar uit om je te verwelkomen en het mooiste uit jouzelf te halen.
Firefighter Anne opens beauty salon in Ede: 'Providing assistance in a different way'
One moment putting out a fire or kicking in a door, the next moment treating someone's face. That's what life has been like for Anne de Beer (36) since the end of November. The firefighter opened beauty salon Skinmediq at Maandereind in Ede.
In the light space, the two fire helmets at the entrance immediately catch the eye. They refer to Anne's passion: the fire brigade. "They are my and my boyfriend's helmets and you don't usually see something like that in a salon. That does raise questions with customers," says Anne with a laugh.
'Dream come true'
The idea of opening her own salon did not come out of the blue. Anne has another passion. “Before I became a firefighter, I worked as a beautician in various places. I have always dreamed of having my own salon.”
Anne recently started working less at the fire department, because her and her boyfriend's schedules overlapped a lot. "That wasn't practical for our family. But I did think: now is my chance to open that salon." She does that in Ede, the place where the family moved from Amsterdam earlier this year.
Two different worlds
Anne does see a similarity in the two different fields of work. “You have a lot of contact with people. You actually provide help in different ways. In the fire department, it is always short moments of action and here in the salon you really work towards a specific goal.”
Anne focuses on treatments that improve the skin. “They are result-oriented. I like to see improvement in people with acne scars, rosacea or pigment spots. I also perform treatments against skin aging.”
The beautician does this with peelings, microneedling and laser therapy. “Our peelings are applied to the skin and then penetrate deep into the skin. The skin is stimulated to produce new cells faster, which means waste products are released faster. The peeling works from the inside out.”
Microneedling is a treatment in which small needles make minuscule holes in the skin. “You briefly ‘break’ the skin, which stimulates it to recover naturally.” Anne uses laser therapy to tackle deep scars on the skin.
Tattoo Removal
In addition to skin improvement treatments, you can also go to Skinmediq to have a tattoo removed. Anne does this by means of multiple laser treatments, depending on the size of your tattoo. “I thought that would be interesting to do, especially because I had one removed myself. That was the name of an ex-boyfriend.”
